Charlotte Avenue has a strong sense of community. I believe this culture is an intricate part of our school’s success. I am very pleased to announce that we have been designated by Business First as #9 out of 256 Western New York schools. This accomplishment could not have happened without a strong partnership between the school and home. Additionally, we have been honored with the National PTA School of Excellence Award. This was a result of the responses to the surveys you completed in the fall and the spring. Thank you for all you have done to support us as we continue to do our best.

The 2019-2020 school year is fast approaching and we are very excited for your children to arrive on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. This year we will continue with the district procedure of doors opening at 8:50 a.m. Students may not enter the building prior to 8:50 a.m. unless they are registered in the YMCA Before School Program (674-9622).

Students participating in the Breakfast Program may proceed to the cafeteria as they enter at 8:50 a.m. Students will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m. Thank you for making our arrival and dismissal drive-through area a great success.

To continue making this a positive and safe experience here are a few reminders:

  • Charlotte Avenue has a No Standing/No Parking Zone in front of the school.
  • Parents who are dropping off or picking up their children by car will utilize the K-5 arrival and dismissal driveway, which is open between the hours of 8:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. Please note: A left turn cannot be made into this lot as per the Hamburg Village Police Department.
  • Parents of K-5 students are not granted access to the Main Parking Lot during our arrival and dismissal times. This parking lot is reserved for PreK parents ONLY (during arrival and dismissal times).

You will find our breakfast and lunch menus, as well as, meal pricing on the District home page. Also, please note that all daily changes to your child’s dismissal must be made in writing.
